The Family Law Centre (FLC) provides child-focused programs and services for families going through separation and divorce.

Overview

Between 2023 and 2025, we consulted on Family Law Centre accessibility initiatives. We also developed internal and public communications materials to improve engagement with programs.

Results

Highlights include:

  • Policy writing for the new Family Law Navigator program and the Maintenance Enforcement Program

  • Consulting on the modernization of the emergency protection order process

  • Developing a handbook for facilitators of the Positive Parenting program

  • Identifying opportunities to improve access to justice and supporting their implementation

  • Plain language redesign of 12 program tri-folds and 9 informational sheets
